A major theme of this album is "something is wrong." An out-of-tune, yet tonal ambience introduces quite a few of the cues. This theme pervades the cue but is driven in stages to a surreal climax. Organic sounds are used to create a tonal pulsing that you won't find on any other album. These cues are on the edge between musical cues and SFX cues balancing between atmospheric, pulse and percussion. Try them out even if you think the tonality is too much. Because they are focused on one note (where there is tonality) they will work when layered with other cues in lots of related keys.
