A Cello On The Side Roads

A concept album entirely performed by a classical cello. 12 abstract and unusual scores, with organic colors and various moods, in Contemporary Classical, Impressionist or Neoclassical styles. Timothée Couteau, composer and sole instrumentalist, has here exploited the full sonic potential of the cello, performing from melodic parts to percussions, using different playing techniques and articulations.
